Sleep Talking
My son is talking in sleep very often. This problem started when we make him sleep on a separate bed. He is talking to us like he is awake and he is discussing any random thing, not relevant any event of current or the past days. I am bit worried now, because the frequency is increased now. Please let me know do I need to go for any checkup or any sessions with psychiatrist.

I can understand ur concerned. It’s better u consult a child specialist or your child’s paediatrician. I am sure there’s not much to worry abt here. Early identification leads to early intervention which leads to early relief:)

As your son is 9 years of age, you could consult child psychologist. She/he will take history and will conduct required tests. Accordingly child psychologist will make further plan of action and treatment. Depending on tests results. They will help and guide you further.

Wellness Greetings to you Unlike our conscious mind,  subconscious mind doesn't go to sleep, so when something is impacted deeply mind get stress. Your son been a child or in teenage would have stressed out. All you gotta do is - don't scare him telling ,what he has been doing in the sleep . -try to make him talk  out.. if you think it's going to be hard for you to take this as process, kindly do consult a psychologist who can professionally guide you.
