I can feel how exhausting this is for you. Sleeplessness with chest pressure, palpitations, and throat tightness can be linked to severe anxiety, but they can also signal heart or thyroid issues. Please see a doctor right away (preferably a physician or cardiologist first) to rule out medical causes. Alongside that, we can work on calming your body and mind, but your first step is urgent medical check-up..
Next Steps
Breathe slow and deep, avoid caffeine, keep nights screen-free, write worries before bed, use grounding when fear rises, and lean on a trusted person for support.
Health Tips
Keep a steady sleep routine, dim lights before bed, use calming dua or soft recitation, notice and release body tension, and remind yourself, fear waves pass, they don't last forever..

Hello, I understand your concerns. Difficulty sleeping, chest pressure, throat tightness, and constant tiredness can feel very distressing. Since your ECG and CT scan are normal, these symptoms are often linked to anxiety, stress, or insomnia rather than a heart or brain problem. Sleep disturbance itself can also worsen anxiety and body discomfort, creating a cycle. The good news is that this is treatable with proper guidance.
Next Steps
a. Consult a psychiatrist or sleep specialist for a detailed evaluation. You may benefit from short-term medication along with therapy for anxiety and sleep. b. Practice good sleep hygiene: fixed sleep/wake time, avoid caffeine/nicotine late in the day, reduce screen time before bed. c. Try relaxation techniques before bedtime (deep breathing, meditation, listening to calm music). d. Share your feelings with a trusted family member or friend instead of bottling them up. Health Tips
1. Avoid self-medicating with sleeping pills without medical advice. 2. Sleep problems persisting for a month with anxiety-like symptoms usually require professional treatment. 3. With the right help, both your sleep and overall health can improve significantly.

Your symptoms suggest anxiety-related insomnia, which often occurs even when medical reports are normal; counselling and relaxation strategies can help improve sleep and reduce stress.
Next Steps
I recommend consulting me for counselling sessions to manage this effectively.

Because you are trying to fall asleep! The more you try to sleep, the more alert you get, the more you cannot fall asleep. It is a vicious cycle. It applies to behaviors related to trying to sleep, such as clock watching, racing thoughts, worrying about sleep, waiting to fall asleep in bed, etc. I like to think about falling asleep as if it were a dinner party. You cannot force your friends to come over. What you can do is set the stage for your friends: make dinner, set the table, make an environment conducive to sleeping. Same thing with sleep. You cannot force sleep to come. All you can do is set the stage: practice good sleep hygiene, make a bedtime ritual, save worrying for a different time during the day, get out of bed if you are not sleeping, do not look at your phone or tablet in bed, etc. Lastly, if you are telling yourself "I must fall asleep!", try to tell yourself "it doesn't matter if I fall asleep". This will help relax the body and mind so you can sleep
Next Steps
Go for counselling sessions

Ok if your physical parameters related to the symptoms are correct, you need to consult a psychologist. If required, psychologist will refer to psychiatrist.
