SIR CBT is effective ??!?

Asked for Male, 28 Years

Sir CBT is effective ? Will it needed for reducing/Tapering SSRI ? I reached tapering of lexpro (sztlo plus) 10 mg to 5mg. Now am taking 5mg per week. (Was having GAD,Not depression) But that last 5mg per week could not able to stopped though my doctor told me to quit. And at this low dosage in low intervals, will it affect my sex drive or semen quality !!? I got scary confusing stories from Google. Please help. Looking forward. Manoj

Hello You seem to have tapered off your medicine successfully. If you are having no symptoms of anxiety, you can definitely stop the weekly doses as this small dose on a weekly basis is not serving any purpose Secondly, the drug levels in your body would be so insignificant that it would not affect your sex drive Any antidepressant does not affect semen quality at any dose So you need not worry about that
