Sinusitis during breastfeeding is often viral and resolves within 10 days. If symptoms persist, worsen, or include severe pain or fever, consult a doctor to rule out bacterial infection. Focus on non-medication remedies like saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation, staying hydrated, and resting. Over-the-counter pain relievers like paracetamol or ibuprofen are generally safe for breastfeeding. Avoid self-medicating, especially with antibiotics, without a doctor’s advice. Monitor your baby for any changes if treatment is prescribed. Always prioritize professional guidance to ensure safety for both you and your baby.
