Sinus tract
My daughter had dental infection and before RCT she suffered from Lot of pus inside That tooth and due to some reasons couldn't get RCT done in time so that pus developed sinus tract and came out from skin below mouth near the chin area. now the RCT is successfully done but the scar and some small thick thing of sinus tract is not yet gone. plese suggest some remedy to get rid of this Scar and dead sinus tract. Thanks.

Dear madam, If your RCT has been successfully completed, you will need to undergo sinus excision now. The procedure involves excision of the tract under local anaesthesia. You may contact us for further advice.

Hello ma'am. .. Greetings for the day... First of all confirm with the dentist for the complete healing of the sinus tract. After the complete healing go to a cosmetic dentist or a Dermatologist fr the scar removal.

Hello Mam, It Is a good sign that the sinus tract is healing,meaning the periapical infection/pus/abscess seems to have been eliminated.As far as the scar tissue is concerned you can contact a plastic surgeon/Dermatologist. Regards Dr Sumanmakam

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  If the scar is developed then im assuming the sinus is closed and gone. For the scar you need to consult a dermatologist in person for further evaluation and management.  He will be able to help you further based on the size and all. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.
