First consult a ENT specialist, let them examine the throat completely along with pharynx n larynx.  They may suggest small procedure like laryngoscopy to rule out any obstruction or inflammation. Then if they suggest Then you can go to consult a gastroenterologist.

Well according to me my friend, for LPR (Laryngopharyngeal Reflux), the best approach is: Start with an ENT specialist because: ENT can examine the throat, voice box, vocal cords, and look for signs of LPR (redness, swelling, posterior commissure hypertrophy, cobblestoning). They rule out other causes like allergies, sinus issues, or vocal strain. ENT often makes the initial diagnosis of LPR. Then consult a Gastroenterologist because: LPR is ultimately a reflux problem originating from the stomach. A gastroenterologist evaluates the esophagus, stomach acid, motility, and can do endoscopy, pH impedance study, and prescribe targeted treatment. Good luck!

Start with a Gastroenterologist (GI) for diagnosis and treatment of reflux. Also see an ENT if you have throat symptoms (hoarseness, globus, cough), but the main specialist for LPR is a GI doctor.
