Shrilling noise in ear.
I am experiencing a light (but constant) shrilling noise in my Left Ear since around 4 days now. I take very good care of my ears & am never ever exposed to Loud/Harsh Music at all.. Is this shrilling noise a symptom of starting of hearing loss..?? Could this sound be due to wax collection in my ears..?? Kindly advise..

Hi. Yes this could be due to impacted wax, however there are many other causes that can cause this. Unfortunately tinnitus (ringing in ears) cannot be evaluated or treated without examining the patient and often needs investigations. You would need to visit a specialist doctor if this persists.
