Old tears don’t heal even after repair Keep going conservative only as of now Any episodes of increased pain or locking will need to be removal of the torn fragment that is coming in between the areas involved in motion
Next Steps
Keep walking Avoid squatting Avoid sitting cross legged
Health Tips
Increased pain or another locking episode to be addressed by your doc

Meniscus have poor blood supply hence healing even after repair is not of good quality. Try conservative treatment for 3-6 weeks. if no benefit, one can think of diagnostic arthroscopy and further treatment
