Shoulder pain
My mother is having continous shoulder pain since a month after she last travelled in bus and she feels that it started due to the jerks she experienced while she slept in sleeper bus. She is unable to lift her right hand properly due to the pain.Please suggest something

Hot Fomentation. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side.. Warm up and cool down is a must.

Hi I think shoulder pain must have started because of nerve compression so first ask your mother to take hot water bag & then some neck exercises & shoulder exercises..

Hi.. The shoulder pain bothering your mother could have originating from the neck casing spasm in and around shoulder.. I suggest you to do lot of icing over the shoulder and neck region.. Kindly try gentle stretching exercises for your neck.. Dont lie on the affected shoulder... Gently knead the muscles around the shoulder..no deep massage... Keep lot of icing...again after kneading.. Should support her neck while sleeping... Can have some Anti inflammatory medications if she have already prescribed earlier... Revert back in case you need further clarification...
