There are many reasons for shoulder pain, but in diabetics it's very likely you have a stiff shoulder called Frozen shoulder. There are lots of treatment options, in my patients i give them a pain injection and their pain goes away then I ask them to do physio and stretching exercises aggressively and open up the shoulder again. But you have to get sugar under control otherwise nothing works.
Next Steps
consult an ortho and diabetes specialist
Health Tips
get sugar control and get vitamin B12 and D injections
