My wife was diagnosed with hypothyroid during pregnancy checkup. From then on she is on medication of 25 mcg thyronorm. Now the baby is 9 months old and we had this thyroid test recently. The test values are. T3 1.1, T4 8.78 and tsh 3.67. Shoukd she continue taking the pills.

Requirement of medicine depends on many things.. including sign and symptoms.
Although she is maintaining normal status..

Consult your physician who started the pills .
Reports seems normal .
Thyroid ptoblem may or may not be continued after delivery .
But as she is breast feeding you need to consult your doctor and with regular follow up.
Mother thyroid hormones directly affects childs growth.
So take care.
