Diagnosed by thyroid disorder
My daughter got diagnosed by thyroid ...her TSH levels r 43...giving 100 mg from one and a half month...doctor told to continue it for 3 months is it ok to give such a high dosage for 3 months

TSH of 43 is actually very high. Please trust your doctor. Your daughter needs 100 mcg of thyroxine. They will do a blood test again after three months to adjust the dosage.

If we start Eltroxin for the first time, TSH has to be done after 6 weeks and consult your doctor. Or you can consult me online.
