SGPT level
II recently had a liver function test and my SGPT levels are elevated. I started taking rosuvastatin 5 mg five months ago to lower my high LDL levels, and now my LDL level is normal and my CRP level is low at 0.66 mg/L. What can I do to lower my elevated SGPT level, or do I need to take medication or undergo further testing?

To manage slightly high SGPT (liver enzyme) levels, follow a home diet rich in antioxidants like vitamin E (nuts, seeds), vitamin C (citrus fruits, berries), and omega-3 fatty acids (fatty fish, flaxseeds), while avoiding fatty, fried, and processed foods.

Your liver is slightly elevated, don't be concerned. You can continue taking statin.A diet change including less oily and fatty food, physical exercise and consume lots of fruits and vegetables to help you to maintain the liver function.
