Severe neck pain
I have severe neck pain from past 5 days took painkillers applied power gels and used neck belt but it's of no use please help me and x ray report is also normal

Neck pain can be due to neck muscles spasm and may take upto 7-10 days if proper advice is followed including medications,rest and physiotherapy.

Neck pain most commonly arises due to weak or fatigued neck muscles.
Sometimes, it can lead to severe pain. In sich case, do not do any heavy work, try to take bed rest, use soft neck collar, do hot water fomentation, and you can take some muscle relaxant.
It can take around 7-10 days more to have complete relief.
Next Steps
If you do not get relief or have some associated symptoms like numbness, loss of power, fever etc. you should take a consult.

Sometimes shoulder movement restriction can be cause for neck pains. Get checked by an Orthopedic surgeon for neck and shoulder movements. If needed MRI of neck or shoulder based on the checkup findings.
