Severe lower back pain
I have severe lower back pain and have got an MRI done. MRI findings say the below: Mild retrolisthesis of L4 over L5 vertebral body. No obvious spondylolysis. Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy at L5-S1. L4-L5: Diffuse disc bulge with posterior central disc protrusion, compressing bilateral traversing nerve roots at that level. No obvious neural foraminal compromise. Spinal canal AP diameter - 12.2 mm. Clinical correlation is recommended. What treatment should I go for in this situation?

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any.  -Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. -(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Keep no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for the affected part.- back & lower limbs. --.(Take help of physiotherapist or you can visit my you tube channel Dr NC Gupta  'me and my yoga'  IT IS FREE. --Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. --Do ask for a detailed treatment plan. Depends on age and the chronicity of your condition. If it is acute pain it is most probably due to muscle spasm due to aggravation of disc bulge. If it is chronic pain for long term it is mechanical pain
Next Steps
if acute pain then take some painkiller, rest for a week or so avoiding forward bending and heavy weight lifting. after the pain settles you can go for back strengthing exercises. if chronic then you can start back strngthening exercises as such
