May be a heel spur. You can get an x ray and consult me on Practo. It can be treated

I concur with the above advice given by the experts however if you aren't getting any pain relief please don't let it worsen. This can treated very easily in early stage. Please consult a good Orthopaedic surgeon at the earliest.

Heel pain more on prolonged rest or on first step in the morning with decrease in pain with activities along with x ray findings of calcaneal spur point towards possibility of plantar fascitis. However, other reasons for heel pain need to be ruled out detailed history, physical examination and relevant investigations.
