Severe Gum pain on molars lower right
I have severe gum pain on lower molars first and second on the right side for one week now. I had dental cleaning last week and the gum pain started in second molar 47 since then. The gum pain in first molar 46 is present even before the cleaning. I also have pain in that first molar tooth 46. This tooth pain is since June 2020 and had root canal for that pain. But no infection or cavity on that tooth before root canal. Gum pain severe constantly on 46 and 47 now. What's the issue and treatment? Severe tooth and gum pain like throbbing all the time. I also have jaw and neck pain.

From x ray point of view both tooth & the RCT done is totally fine, there is horizontal bone loss around both teeth, food accumulation interdentaly may cause pain & swelling of gums, if u hav already done scaling u can just maintain good oral hygiene (brush twice, rinse mouth with warm salt water 5-6 times a day for next 3 days. Use interdental brush to clean proximally. Any injury during scaling in 47 may trigger pain. 46 if it was touched unnecessarily i think u need to look at 48 if it exists, extract it if needed since ur case might be referred pain. Mostly u ll do just fine with this 🙂
Next Steps
warm salt water gargling 5 times a day. rinse mouth after every snack meal. use interdental brush between teeth & gums. clinical examination of 48 & extract even if there is lowest level of doubt.
Health Tips
Visit clinic near by or consult online immediately if fever or lymphadenopathy exists. u can contact me in future through chat also regarding medications.
