The possible cause of the pain and swelling is your wisdom tooth. Rinsing your mouth 3 to 4 times a day with lukewarm water and salt will help reduce the swelling and pain. You can also take analgesics for pain relief. Kindly consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for your treatment.
