Severe Anxiety disorder
It's been a while since I've been diagnosed with anxiety disorder, specifically performance anxiety recently I had to make a Public Speaking, and although I felt a bit calm but my body was shaking especially my arms. Is it advisable to take any kind of medication before such events?

Do sports (at home, if you feel more confortable) but 3x 30min/week. Eat more greens, oilseeds, fresh fruits and food rich in magnesium such as: raw spinach, fish, beans, lentils, avocados, brown rice, bananas, figs and chocolate. If you have a pet, cuddle with it more often and take care of it. It will make you shift your focus from anxiety to something else. Try to catch the sun everyday for 10mins. Check your levels of vit D and B12 (adjust with supplements if needed). Yoga, you can find plenty of stuff online. Mindfulness meditation, it’s not hard, stick to it. When you feel anxiety, let it come, don’t fight against it. Take deep breath (inhale for 6 seconds, hold for 2, exhale for 6. Do it again). Just observe how tense and how bad you feel over nothing. Meditation can help to stand back. Sleep enough (7 to 9hours/night). Quit smoking and avoid drinking alcohol. Smile. Smiling, even for nothing, tricks the mind and releases happy hormones. Learn to manage your anxiety, it’s always going to be there because it’s a normal mechanism of protection but don’t let it rule you anymore. You are not alone.

Hi, I am sorry this happened. I am sure this takes away your confidence and makes you feel lesser than who you are. I’d like you to reflect upon a past incident where something similar happened and you didn’t feel good about that experience. It looks like that experience gets triggered once you speak in public. We will have to work on the subconscious hurt trauma and the fear that you have stored and release all emotions in a safe space. Once emotions are released in a safe space you’ll move into wellness. You’re brave! Shine ✨

Hi If you are having severe anxiety consult a psychiatrist. A combination of medication and psychotherapy is effective for treating anxiety disorder. You recently did public speaking and your body was shaking. To feel better you will have to work on managing your anxiety levels. If you are someone who is into public speaking go for it. Don’t lose hope because of an incident. To feel better consult a psychiatrist for medication and consult a psychologist for psychotherapy. A psychologist will help you manage anxiety levels. With a psychologist you can talk about the thoughts that come to your mind before speaking in front of a crowd. Positive thinking can help.

Anti anxiety medication can help before the events but if you are in a profession where such events will always be a part of your work profile then why not opt for psychotherapy and get to the root and seek professional help? Even yoga, breathing and relaxation exercises can help.
Next Steps
Try out psychotherapy, yoga, breathing to get to the problem in an indirect way rather than directly depending on medication
