Hi,
Sleep duration and quality reduces with age usually. Also depression is very common in this age. In some cases of depression, there can be excess sleep, decrease in appetite. Need to know whether she has any other physical illness.
As u mentioned that she is not able to walk,first that should be evaluated for any organic cause
