No, smoking does not interferes with RCT treatment .

Namaskaram, Root canal treatment a filling is placed inside the roots after removing the infected pulp is removed. Smoking should not interfere in the treatment or prognosis of that specific tooth. It can interfere with the soft tissue surrounding the tooth, because cigars contain inflammatory factors by the periodontal point of view.Smokers suffer usually from gingivitis. No you should not use hot foods or gas in your mouth after root canal sitting. Hot for me ration may cause increase in the bacterial infection thus causing issues in the next sitting or even during the rest phase. Better refrain from smoking as it is harmful in life too
