Root canal
Doctor suggested me for root canal.. but after that I need to fit cap also...is this compulsory ? If not then any side effects ? N charges for cap ?? I m shocked dentist told me 4000 for root canal and 2500 for metal cap total 6500 for one tooth...any reasonable dentist in Pune ???

The price what your dentist has charged is very reasonable for rct and crown and it's compulsory to have crown or else rct will be waste

Costing is fine what your doctor quoted.
But you will also can find doctor who do it in cheaper rate, but only by compromising the material s which he gonna use for you. So please don't compromise on quality which is related to your health

Could you find the cost of a garra saree or a lawyer's document? Any specialised work that involves manual dexterity and not factory precision costs more. Anything that involves years of dedicated study and long sleepless nights taxing both the mind and spirit will have a value attached to it. However nowadays factory made phones cost more than what your doctor quoted. So your shock is unnecessary. If you don't put the crown the tooth will fracture. When that happens you will lose the tooth. When it will fracture cannot be predicted could be a day, a month, a year or two. The chances of a front uncrowned tooth in the anterior region surviving for some years is greater compared to back teeth. If you want to take a risk is up to you. But when it does fracture you will lose the tooth.

If you want your tooth to live a long life than cap is necessary as it provides better strength to your Root canal treated tooth. As far as prices has to be defined, it is quite reasonable.
And if you are more into negotiations then it will surely not help getting a better treatment
