Right eye keratoconus
Hi Doctor, I am a 26 yr old female. I was diagnosed with keratoconus in right eye in Feb 1st week and left eye was normal. We waited for 3 months as per doctor's advice and then had pentacam again in may 2023. Doctor could see some minor progression in my right eye and left eye seemed to be stable. Doctor has suggested a C3R. Should I go for it? Also, my left eye i.e my normal eye has seen a sudden increase in spherical power from -2 to -2.75 within just 1 month and the cylinder power is same. Can you please help me understand why this has happened? Please request you to answer these 2 questions of mine as I am under immense stress these days

.1 if keratoconus is showing progression in pentacam then you should go for C3R as collagen cross linking will halt the progression of myopia. 2. Rapid increase in myopia in left eye can be a sign of early keratoconus as keratoconus usually presents with myopia and astigmatism
Next Steps
