Rheumatoid arthritis
My mother in law has been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis since last 3 years. She did have medication initially but not regularly. She uknowingly consumed steroids more than prescribed for more than 1.5 years. Now her pain has become unbearable and she is currently being treated under a rheumatologist in Kolkata since March 2019.
Initially she was getting better and she had become close to normal by April. But now her joints, knees, fingers, neck have all started paining again. Knees and ankles have swollen and she can't walk or move without pain.
I have mentioned what all medication she is under currently.
tablets: mega freeflex, lefra 10, folvite 5, shelcal xp, duzela 20
inj : folitrax 15
Please advise what can be done to get this cured.
Shall we go to Vellore to get her checked up? Please advise.
