Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in the joints, leading to pain, stiffness, and swelling. It can affect any joint in the body, including the hands and fingers. However, the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis are usually more widespread and affect multiple joints. In addition, rheumatoid arthritis symptoms often include morning stiffness that lasts for at least an hour and improves with movement throughout the day. If you are concerned about your symptoms, I would recommend seeing a orthopedician who can assess your symptoms and provide an accurate diagnosis
