Gout Arthritis
Occasionally found High uric acid.earlier diagnosis was Gout arthritis. taken Febustat 40 daily whenever found any pain/swelling. whenever taken Febustat 2 times a day found less pain but whenever I will discontinue for a longer period it will start paining. earlier its on right knee now this time its left knee.

Hi Alterations of blood uric acid levels will flare the gouty arthritis. So in acute conditions we should not use febuxostat. In acute condition u use NSAIDs or colchicine. Avoid using high protein diet like mutton, beef. Avoid beer.  and go for polyarthralgia evaluation Do the following tests done CBP ESR CRP RA FACTOR ASO TITRE HLA B27 THYROID PROFILE Get knee joint x-rays done

Hello.......Gout is a kind of arthritis. It can cause an attack of sudden burning pain, stiffness, and swelling in a joint, usually a big toe. These attacks can happen over and over unless gout is treated. Decrease intake of non vegetarian foods and drink lot of water. Consult general physician.
