Based on the given history and MRI finding- looks like a prolapse disc( Slip disc) since there is leg pain ( Sciatica) there must be some irritation.
Next Steps
first thing- Give yourself complete rest
Avoid Forward bending, Lifting weights, Jerks. Twisting
Health Tips
Watch For Red Flag signs-
1. Significant leg pain( Sciatica )
2. Weakness of ankle and foot
3. Control over Urine / Toilet
if anyone is positive needs evaluation and intervention at the earliest
You have to stop gym for few weeks, start doing core and back muscle strengthening excercises and take muscle relaxants. Most of back pains get resolved on its own. If it is not going down in 1-2weeks. Then u must consult.
There is a disc prolapse at L5-S1 and compressing the nerve root. But looks like its mild and rest and exercises will take care of it
Need to examine physically to see how severe it is or it could be
Next Steps
Currently no surgery is required
