Regarding use of steroids
My doctor prescribed me pathimom cream for my lichen planus pigmentosus but I had stopped using that after 10 days of consistent use due to fear of skin thinning and after that I left my face untreated for next 15 days approx and then started tacrofast ointment since last 7 days but it's spreading when I went to my dermatologist I didn't told him about that he advised me to continue the use of pathimom cream should I stop using tacrofast and start pathimom cream from today onwards or It can have and significant drawbacks please suggest me

If it is progressing then it will require immunosupression which is done by medicines like steroids. However there are other options available for LPP to control progression.
