Zempred 4mg for lichen planus pigmentosu
I'm taking zempred 4mg on weekends . two each day ( sat n sun ) for one month. Totally 16 tablets. I'm diagnosed with lichen planus pigmentosus . is this tablet safe to stop after this one month ? Safe to consume for one month ?

My treatment depends on the findings of the biopsy and that will help me make the treatment plan. If there is features suggestive of inflammation of biopsy, steroids may be helpful. Clinically you may itch if there is underlying inflammation, so depending on that the choice of steroids can be made. I do not prefer NB UVB as compliance is an issue with all of may patients till now and the quality of phototherapy chambers are very poor at most places. There are many other issues that has to be considered before making a treatment plan as it will last for 2 years for complete clearance. Hope it helps you.
