Regarding sitz bath

I m currently undergoing weekly thread change with kshar sutra therapy for fistula in ano. I have recently buy sitz bath, my query should I add something in warm water in sitz bath tub like any medicine or betadine for faster healing or regular warm water will work? Thankyou.

For fast healing triphala is the best.
Boil 1 tbsp in one cup of water and strain it . Add this solution to hot water for sitz bath.mix well and then do the procedure.

Sir u can add few drops of betadine for Sitz bath for faster healing !!!
Take sitz bath for 10-15 mins later wash with warm water !!

Ksharsutra for Fistula in ano is best one, but it should be with trained Physician.
The use of sitz bath is to keep the Fistula track clean and sterile so that healing from above is proper and without any pus pocket left in Fistula track.
You may use haridra, Jeshthmadh water (Water boiled with haridra,Jeshthmadh) for sitz bath , press the around area while sitz bath.

Hi
If you have bleeding or sever pain then you can add half tea spoon alum powder( fitkari powder) but if you have not any bleeding or no pain then nothing to add. Then use only leuki warm water only.

Shitz bath powder is helpful. Prepare kashayam with this powder and sit when Luke warm.
Apply Jatyadi gritham.
Take Guggulu panch pala churnam with buttermilk.

You can add few drops of betadine / 1 teaspoon of tumeric powder for better results.
It will fasten the healing of tract.
Avoid sitz on day of kshar sutra change because sitz bath after kdhar sutra change disolves the medicine of sutra which results in slow cutting of tract .
