Regarding safety of medication
Iam currently 23 weeks pregnant...At 18 weeks cerclage was done as my CL was 2.5cm.since a week i have been noticing green discharge with no other symptoms..my doctor did vaginal exam and prescribed me nifty 100mg(30 days),fenticonazole (600mg vaginal capsules once a week for 4 weeks) And also samples were given for urine and vaginal culture... Urine and vaginal culture tests both came out negative... after culture report she wrote metronidazole 600mg for 7 days...and also fenticonazole 150mg oral (2 tablets once a week)... I want to know whether these tablets are safe to use...

Out of all the medicines mentioned only Fenticonazole is used in pregnancy with caution.

You need to be educated about the fact that fenticonazole is available only in cream or vaginal suppository form It is not available in oral form Do not consume the capsule orally Yes all these medications are safe in pregnancy
