Yes, ragi chips can be a healthy snack alternative to have instead of fried potato chips. Here are some things to keep in mind: -While buying ragi chips, always make sure you check the nutrition & ingredients label for ingredients such as added sugar, palm oil and sodium levels as most packaged items have higher levels of sodium. -Do keep a check if chips are made with palm oil or vegetable oil and if they are fried or baked. Avoid ones with added sugar content or different seasoning options (like peri peri). Here are some healthy snack alternatives that you can include in your diet: -A bowl of makhanas, lightly roasted at home with seasoning of your choice, avoid packaged or flavoured makhanas since they contain more amount of sodium levels and added sugars. -Consume a bowl of peanut and chana mixture, you can season it with lemon juice or lightly roast it as well, instead of salted nuts. -You can also have low fat yogurt (avoid flavoured ones due to added sugar content) with a bowl of fruit. -A bowl of sprouts chaat, makhana bhel or crushed diet khakhra bhel, home-made rice flakes chivda (roasted with chopped vegetables) are other healthy snack alternatives you can try as well.

Fruits are great for snack too. Try roasted channa, home made bhel. Ragi chips are okay if they don’t have too much salt or other unhealthy ingredients. If you eat eggs, include omelet. Or paneer bhurji if you are a vegetarian

At 18 years, your body is still growing, so your snacks should nourish you and give you proper energy, protein, fiber, and healthy fats. You can have ragi chips, but only in moderation and preferably if they are baked, low in salt, and free from artificial flavors, because even healthy chips are still processed foods. Better daily options include easy homemade snacks like roasted peanuts or chana, boiled corn with lemon and salt, fruit chaat, a peanut butter sandwich on brown bread, curd with fruit or a little honey, boiled eggs or a vegetable omelette, sprouts chaat, poha with peanuts, homemade popcorn with less oil and salt, and banana milk smoothies. From the market, healthier choices are roasted makhana, roasted chana or peanuts, baked ragi or millet chips, oats biscuits with low sugar, peanut or dry fruit chikki, low-sugar protein bars, yogurt cups, and fruit cups. Try to avoid regular chips, kurkure, namkeen, cream biscuits, and sugary drinks, because they give empty calories and harm your health over time. Eating smart snacks now will help build a stronger and healthier body for the future. 💪

Home made snacks are great - roasted Makhanas, boiled eggs, Greek yoghurt with nuts, chana chaat , veg cutlets etc are good options For store bought - You can try right crunch, slurp farm or any other good brand but make sure you read the labels carefully in terms of added sugar and the kind of oil used.
