Regarding medicine for fever
Greetings Doctor My father was diagnosed with Acute ischemic brain stroke on 31/08/23 and was discharged on 5/09/24, After roughly around a month i.e today he had caught up with fever, So what medicine would be the best for him and at what dosage,We are currently giving him Calpol 650 mg(consumed 3 tablets from 9:30 a.m to 7:30 p.m)buy it seems to work for 3 hours only. Or should we go on with Calpol 650mg??

Sir . Calpol is symptomatic treatment . Not definitive treatment.. 1st have to find cause why he is having fever. Is it due to infection or by metabolic syndrome . Also he have major HSITORY  with multiple  disease So his immunity  will be on lower side . Instead  of giving calpol Take him to nearby hospital and find cause and then treatment.

Dd-ischemic brain stroke,any other neurological disorder need proper history. Which medication you taking already Have you done any blood report ,MRI,USG,xray can you share? Need more history before came to any conclusion Kindly consult for further guidance
