Red white spot on lips.
Sir/madam, I have some red and white spots just inside the lips. It appeared some 2 or 3 days ago. If I touch inside my lips it burns a little. I am a smoker. I don't know if that is the reason for this. Please suggest what to do. I Also have some little white things on lips for 5-6 months. Thank you.

It may or may not be related to smoking. You may find out by abstaining from the act of smoking. And kindly get an oral check up done even if it gets cured after you stop smoking.

The first logical thing that you need to do is to stop the Habit immediately. I cannot say for sure but if it would have been simple ulcers of the oral cavity they should have healed in 7 to 10 days. But the duration of the lesions as per your description is not a good information. A proper clinical evaluation by an oral pathologist will be required to make the accurate diagnosis so that the right treatment can be suggested to you. But no treatment can be successful if the damaging effects of the Habit continue. You can post the clinical pictures of the affected area on Practo for a detailed online consultation with a specialist. Regards
