Since you have consulted an ophthalmologist in person and she has been diagnosed as having allergy, so it has to be allergy. Allergy can be seasonal or of many other varieties. Treatment duration depends on the variety of allergy. Stick to your doctor and be regular in follow up. It doesn't seem to be related to corona.

Hi...don't worry...corona or mucormycosis do not present with only redness..there will be swelling of face and eyes, nasal blockage, pain, fever and other symptoms associated with that. It can be due to viral conjunctivitis or allergic conjunctivitis due to high pollution after Diwali. Both of which will become better after treatment. Show to Ophthalmologist again in one week if it doesn't get better.
