Hi,
The redness could be because of finger nail trauma she had in the eye.
Next Steps
You should start some antibiotic eye drops like Tobramycin eye drops, 2 drops 3 times/day for week in the affected eye and stop.
Health Tips
If you notice that redness is still persisting, or any excessive watering of eyes is noted, you have to visit an ophthalmologist.
