Recurring anterior shoulder dislocation
I've had the captioned issue for over 2 years now. Do I absolutely need a surgery? Or can the same be cured by medication and / or physiotherapy?

If recurrent shoulder dislocation then there is a high chance of again repeated dislocation. Get your mri done to see for your defect in humerus head and labral tear to decide for bankart repair or latarjet.

No role of medications . Mechanical problems have to be dealt with surgery. Best for you would be arthroscopic bankarts repair or latarjet depending on size and type of lesion. Get a MRI done and share.
