If you are experiencing receding gums, sensitivity, and bleeding, it could be an indication of gum disease or another underlying dental issue. Improve oral hygiene: Brush your teeth at least twice a day using a soft-bristled toothbrush and a fluoridated toothpaste. Use gentle, circular motions and ensure you clean along the gumline. Don't forget to floss daily to remove plaque and food particles from between your teeth. Use a desensitizing toothpaste: Consider using a toothpaste specifically designed for sensitive teeth. These toothpastes can help alleviate tooth sensitivity and provide relief. Rinse with a mouthwash: Use an antimicrobial mouthwash recommended by your dentist. This can help reduce bacteria and plaque buildup, promoting gum health and reducing bleeding. Avoid tobacco and limit alcohol consumption: Smoking and chewing tobacco can contribute to gum disease and hinder the healing process. Additionally, excessive alcohol consumption can affect oral health. Try to minimize or eliminate these habits for better gum health. Maintain a balanced diet: Eat a nutritious diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Limit your intake of sugary and acidic foods and beverages, as they can contribute to gum disease and tooth sensitivity. Schedule regular dental check-ups: Visit your dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral examinations. Your dentist can assess the health of your gums, identify any underlying issues, and provide appropriate treatment. Consider professional treatment: If your gum recession and symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to seek professional dental care. Your dentist may recommend treatments such as scaling and root planing (deep cleaning), gum grafting, or other procedures to address gum disease and promote gum tissue regeneration. It's crucial to consult with a dental professional who can evaluate your specific situation, diagnose any underlying dental issues, and provide personalized treatment recommendations. They will be able to assess the severity of your gum recession, determine the cause of your symptoms, and develop an appropriate treatment plan to improve the health of your gums and alleviate your symptoms.

You require periodontal evaluation for your condition. With gum recession, sensitivity issues arise. And due to swollen and inflamed gums bleeding occurs. If this problem goes untreated it can further lead to loosening of teeth. Commonly in young people it affects lower incisors, molar and premolar regions. Visit a dentist for scaling and further management, if required. You are too young to let this problem get bigger. Start taking good care of your teeth and gums with proper oral hygiene techniques and proper tooth brushing technique. You can video call also to know how to manage the health of your oral cavity and learn proper brushing technique.
Next Steps
Get your periodontal problem evaluated followed by scaling and learn at-home care.
Health Tips
Start warm saline rinses thrice daily for a week
