Rct failure
I have gone through the rct and was not having any issue but now since cap is placed i am not able to even drink water as its causing too much of pain and not able to chew on that teeth

Get it checked again by your dentist as RCT tooth never pain .. RCT is done for you to relief pain only .

Bz you are not even able to drink water ..... go and consult with the dentist who has done RCT and placed crown!!!
Next Steps
May be after RCT tooth was disoccluded... so it was not painful... .. After proper clinical examination and by use of radiograph we can come to the cause of pain.
Health Tips
For emergency relief you take Analgesic and avoid taking food from that side!!!!!

There may be a possibility of high point on the newly placed cap,  second reason will be definitely revealed with the help of an xray to see whether any rct lacuna.
Next Steps
go again to the treating doctor and show with what may be the reason

This may be due to the high points of the crown or it can be due to secondary infection or improper root canal treatment, please do visit your dentist asap.
