Rct came off
My RCT has come off,and there's a huge cavity in my gum ,its been aching since ३ days ,with swelling and there was puss discharge yesterday. What should I do And until I go to the dentist ,please provide some medication

Greetings, it sounds like your tooth is pqining because of infection in the tooth and as you say there is pus discharge also u should go for treatment ASAP till then you can take medicines Medicines are for symptomatic relief

It can be a post RCT (por) might have dislodged, giving space for food lodgement and hence gum swelling, pain and pus discharge

Root canal treated tooth get reinfected due to various reasons. Broken filling is one of them. You may need reRct. Consult online for medicines Meanwhile you can start lukewarm salt water rinse thrice daily. Apply ointment Hexigel in the cavity and gum region twice daily. Keep it for 5 mins then wash your mouth.

It's because of chewing pressure caused dislocation of that rct treated tooth causing the trouble. Please details required to prescribe medicines as you have hives as a allergic condition . In the meanwhile you can rinse with lukewarm salt water after every meals and maintain oral hygiene by brushing with ultra soft toothbrush  2 times daily on a regular basis to prevent further loss of tooth substance due to caries.

There might be reinfection in the root canal treated tooth. ..so it's paining. The tooth is broken n so the filling came out ...capping after root canal treatment is recommended always .
