I completed my rabies vaccination on 7 August 2025 from government hospital . The same dog that bit me earlier bit my dog on 23 September 2025. I started my dog’s rabies vaccination after that — he has received three doses (the latest on 2 October 2025), and his last dose is due on 6 October 2025.
Today, the same dog bit my dog again, and while I was cleaning my dog’s wound, he licked my open wound.
What should I do now?

Since I hope you have completed the Rabies vaccine schedule... Like.. 2 doses on days 0,3,7,28 according to Thai Cross regimen intradermally... Along with Equine Immunoglobulin 40 iu/kg around the wound...
If above done, there is absolutely no requirement of a Re Prophylaxis before 3 years. If this same incident occurs after 3 years.. You might have to take a two dosed re prophylaxis and not the entire dose.
Erig never to be taken again. Once in a lifetime.
