Rabies vaccine
I received a 4-dose intramuscular rabies vaccination course in February 2026and recently completed another full 5-dose intramuscular course on October 7th 2026 . Yesterday around 2p.m, a stray puppy suddenly ran up to my foot and brushed its face against it. There were no visible bites, scratches, or broken skin, but because my skin is quite dry, I am concerned about the possibility of unnoticed micro-abrasions. Later this evening, I tripped and fell, which caused my foot to swell, and I have since noticed a slight tingling sensation. Given my recent vaccination history, do I need another vaccine or booster dose, and what should I do?
