I have been told that I have class 2 div 1 deep bite and suggested for clear aligners. Is that a good idea as I am 27 years old or should I be choosing braces like SLB? At times it seems that orthodontist is pitching me for their own gain? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thank you

Hi
Dr Vasundhara Bhide here.
I am an Orthodontist & I have my own clinic in Bangalore.
See you can achieve good results with aligners as well as braces.
Both the options have their merits & demerits with them with respect to comfort/discomfort & money involved.
Now it all depends on you that which option suits your preference.
