Dear mam Thank you for your query. Difficulty in controlling anger, impulsivity, emotional outbursts can lead to a lot of distress to you as well as your loved ones. Please see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation to understand what is causing these issues. Whether there is a diagnosable mental illness can be determined only after a detailed evaluation as such behavior can be seen in various disorders like depression, anxiety, personality disorder. Either way, it can be effectively dealt with with medications or psychological therapy depending upon the outcome of assessment. Kindly see a psychiatrist for further help. Hello practo user I can understand the concerns you have regarding your issues . It seems that you are unable to express your emotions in a positive manner which is causing these issues in your personal / professional life . You can try and practice deep breathing as it can help you control the outburst , try and count backwards from 100-1 in such situations as it will give you some time to think before you react . Try and go for regular exercise as it can help vent out the frustration and make you feel good as well . Wash your face with cold water when you can . It is advisable that you seek help from a clinical psychologist for a further evaluation and formulation of a personalized treatment program through which you can learn positive and healthy coping skills and strategies for the same. You can also reach out to me through the practo app for any further help or guidance.
