Tuberculosis patient should consume bland food with very less oil and spice.
Clear soups, porridge in semi solid consistency, boiled vegs, fruits like apples, papaya, guava can be consumed.
If you are non veg, egg whites are a wonderful source of protein.

Fruits and vegetables like oranges, mangoes, sweet pumpkin, Carrots, guava, amla , tomatoes, nuts and seeds.
Tuberculosis can cause loss of muscle mass ; high protein diet to avert muscle wasting.Good source of protein like milk and milk products, pulses, nuts, fish, eggs are recommended. Protein rich drinks like milkshakes, soup are advised.

Have vitamin rich diet like vit A,C,and E especially(Oranges,Amla,Guava,Carrots) on daily basis for Tuberculosis.
And most important is to drink luke warm water.
In protein rich diet,you can have soya powder,egg whites,oats etc.

In tuberculosis we have some time loss of appetite and some times we feel extreme hunger so prefer protein source your digestive system is familiar and give preference to small frequent meals.
You can include protein sources such as curd, chach,sprouted ,sprouted steamed grains , pulses as per tolerance . if you are non vegetarian include chicken ,stalk,egg ,fish in your diet. But ,preference need to be given to properly cooked and steamed food.Include desighee as a source of essential fattyacids. Better to avoid intake of ultra processed good.
