Protein laddoo side effects
Hi, I prepare homemade protein laddoo using almonds, cashew, flax seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, watermelon seeds and fard dates. I just roast the nuts and seeds and powder them to make it with some ghee. It is for my husband to eat before going to the gym( one laddoo per day). I also have it nowadays. He is saying that he is having digestion issues and constipation recently. So I'm worried, is this because of these seeds in the laddu? Because I saw on google chia seeds should be consumed with water only. Also does this affect badly in any way in getting pregnant. Kindly share your opinion

Hi Good afternoon! Great effort on your part in making such a nutritious laddu. Yes, chia seeds need to be soaked for better digestion. Eating too much nuts and seeds all of a sudden can be tough to digest for many people. For now I would recommend that he stops eating the laddu for 7-10 days. Start with 5g of seeds per day and increase the quantity gradually. Also ask him to increase his water intake slowly. No this does not affect the chances in getting pregnant. So don’t worry.
