Hello , thanks for the query, As you have just asked for examination for unmarried women for their cervical health , so the examination is similar to other women where a person speculum exam is performed by the gynaecologist and if needed size of the speculum is reduced. This is for direct visualization of cervix however the other mode is an ultrasound pelvis which is an indirect mode of evaluation of cervical size and morphology but it doesn't comment upon cervicitis or any vaginal infection.
