Im 18 weeks pregnant and in my last scan my cervix length was about 2.8 cm. My doc said that the cervix is a little short and should be able to carry full term as in my last pregnancy i delivered at 38 weeks. He has not asked me for cerclage till now. I have been put on duvadilan retard twice a day. What precautions should i take? Can i go out normally for lunch and dinners or should i rest at home full time?

Your didn’t ask for cerclage because cervical length is more than 2.5 cm.
Next Steps
Repeat Ultrasound after 2 weeks

A cervix length around 2.8cm at 18 weeks with no cerclage advised yet is being actively watched by your doctor, and moderate outings are usually fine unless told otherwise.
Next Steps
Avoid long or stressful outings, keep your follow-up scans on schedule, and rest more than usual in between.
Health Tips
Contact your doctor right away if you notice cramping, pelvic pressure, or any spotting.
