Pregnancy issues
I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with a history of preterm delivery at 24 weeks due to incompetent cervix. Cerclage already done in 4 th month and on complete bed rest. My gynae has advised me to take preventive antibiotic metrogyl 400 mg twice a day for 10 days.. As i have no infection as i am already getting monthly vaginal swabs done and urine culture every 15 days.. Gynae said its just a preventive treatment .. So just want to know should i continue with the antibiotic.
