Postpartum Constipation
Hello Doctors I'm facing a severe hard stool while passing motion after c section. My doc prescribed Duphalac 15ml at bedtime & 5ml in the morning. It made me increase the number of times I go for motion. But still the stool is very hard and I feel like something is leftover inside every time. I'm also taking a fiber rich diet & around 10 glasses of water. But still my problem is getting worse day by day. Please suggest me how to deal with this problem

Please go to the hospital where you had the Caesarean operation. As per your description you should need an enema. Even that may fail. Then you will need evacuation of your bowels by fingers (which becomes like a minor operation).

You must be physically active.abdominal massage will also help. It usually takes a few days for the laxative to work.
